The testing phase for any product, whether it is under development or is in production, is largely repetitive in nature and can be automated, but only if automated testing is similar to humans — the device should not be able to differentiate whether it is a human or a robot that is testing it.
At Sastra Robotics, we are building such a prosthetic robotic arm by evolving our existing product line over the next few years. Our technology evolved from 1-finger touch module (to operate touchscreens & buttons) to 2-finger modules (to operate knobs & toggle switches). We are researching on multi-finger touch module that can be developed further into 5-finger human forearm and later into the fully fledged prosthetic robotic arm sought by organizations and individuals alike.
